No Wonder

Verse 1

I do a whole lot of nothing lately, and for most of the time

I’m walking ‘round with a silly grin and someone else on my mind

I talk to friends but don’t hear what they tell me; is that the right thing to do?

I don’t have time for no conversation, while I’m thinking of you

So if it’s cloudy through summer

Or when it’s starting to rain

Without a coat in the winter

The weather’s always the same

Chorus

Oh – what a wonderful feeling

Oh – what a wonderful day

Since you’ve been my sunshine

No wonder I’m feeling this way

Oh – what a wonderful moment

Oh – what a wonderful kiss

Since you’ve been beside me

No wonder I’m feeling like this

Verse 2

Now I don’t try when I’m working lately, so I guess I’ll stay poor

I can’t recall if it’s June or August; it’s all a bit of a bore

And I don’t think about taking vacations, or leaving somewhere behind

There’s no room in my head for dreaming, when I’ve got you on my mind

So if it’s cloudy through summer

Or when it’s starting to rain

Without a coat in the winter

The weather’s always the same
